Hi guys, I am setting up a DNS an one of the domain controllers is in a remote site, and that remote site connects to the main a domain controller via a dial up link.
I have set up routing and remote access services on the main server and i dialed into the main server with the additional domain controller. When i dialled into the aserver i was authenticated but when i open the network neigbourhood of the main server i am unable to browse the network of the main server. Secondly when i ping the ip address of the main server i get a request timed out error Is there something i am doing wrong or is there an additional thing i need to do on the network so that 1) i am able to browse the network from the remote site 2) I am able to ping the ip address of the server 3) i am able to access the active directory users and computers from my remote site.
