This is for our less experienced Group Policy readers, as I know that David is well versed in this....
You will not be able to assign the Group Policy settings to the default Users container - it must be assigned at the OU, Domain, or Site object to be of any use. Good luck! I am prersently having a problem. When any machine joins the network the proxy settings have to be manually configured on each system before they can have access to the internet. I am looking for a way by which when a user logs into the network for the first time, these settings are automatically configured and one does not have to go to each machine manually and have to start changing all these properties. Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
