Interesting situation, to say the least.  No, I haven't seen this, but a
couple of things come to mind.

Firstly, aren't running an OpenGL screen saver are you?  (Yes, I had to
ask...)

Secondly, what are you using to determine that the LDAP listener has
seemingly gone to sleep?

Thirdly, (possibly answered above) if another machine with the Admin
tools on the net attempts to access using AD Users and Computers, what
happens?

I have an unusual situation here. I have a test domain that I am using
to build code to allow AD account management from a Unix system. I'm
doing this through the ldap interface. So far everything is working ok
except the ldap interface stops responding on occasion. Logging into the
console of the DC and it wakes up again. There doesn't appear to be a
pattern to this behavior.

Anyone seen anything like this before?
