Well, I would use a registry snap-shot tool and take a snap before change an
compare it to after. Keep in mind that not all of the registry entries may
be captured, however...
We just had an instance where we were trying to programatically set a check
in a box in the file and print sharing under the network config using .vbs
at login, but the registry snap would not catch all of the cascading changes
and Microsoft would NOT release any further information, as it was
considered a "security risk". Ah, how I long for open source. Good luck with
it! -JB

Subject: [ActiveDir] Group Policy Object and registry keys

How can I locate the registry key that corresponds to any setting I have
changed via the Group Policy MMC ?

For example, if I use the GPO MMC to set the value of "Computer
Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security
Option - Network Security: Force logoff when logon hours expire" to ENABLED,
how do I find the corresponding modified registry key ?

Many thanks,

Mark
