Title: RE: [ActiveDir] streetAddress attribute

CRLF

I've got Perl (using Net::LDAP) to do just this sort of thing, if you'd like.

Subject: [ActiveDir] streetAddress attribute

I want to modify this attribute via ldap driven by our central name
database (on a OSF1 machine). This is real easy with a single line
address like this

123 Pine Street

But I want to inlude some other information like the mail stop in a nice
format

123 Pine Street
Mail Stop 321

If the attribute is a single line then the ldif being used to change the
attribute can be plain text. If it is multi-line then it is to be Base64
encoded. No problem doing this either. The only thing I can't find is
the control character(s) being used to put the information on two lines
when viewed in AD Users & Computers.

I've been reading my AD books and searching the web and coming up blank.
Any idea what the carriage control character(s) are? ADSI Editor shows
two of them.
