Hi Lori

Site awareness is the big plus with the dsclient, with the ability to logon to the
"closest" domain controller.

Unfortunately, the NT 4.0 dsclient does not remove the requirement to directly contact
the PDCE for password changes. Support for Group Policy and Kerberos is also missing,
so you'll not be able to realise the full benefit of AD until you move to Windows 2000
or XP.

If you not planning to upgrade your NT 4.0 clients anytime soon, then it may be worth
you installing the client.

Group,

What are the benefits to deploying dsclient to 4.0 workstations and servers?
Thanks in advance,
