[ActiveDir] username sort

Is there a way to sort user accounts some other way than by name?  I keep all of the user account in a single OU.  I would like to be able to highlight a user inside of the OU and start typing the pre2000 or AD username and have it find it.  At this point it will only search the name field.  If you go to view, choose columns, it will not allow anything other than name in the top spot.  Any ideas?   Thanks,   Brian
