Am currently trying
to roll out XP Professional to a testbed using RIS and keep getting an error
message "The File ASMS on Windows XP Professional CD-Rom is needed". I have
looked at Q311755, to no avail, I used the original CD-Rom to create the
image and I don't want to have to goto every PC that I have RIS'd and do a
Registry Hack/put the XP CD-Rom in and guide to the i386 directory. I have
updated the RIS server as per Q304314. We have a Corporate Version of
XP and I have used the Setupmgr.exe on the XP CD-Rom to recreate the *.sif
file and the associate that answer file to the XP image. What am I doing
wrong...
