Hello, I have a newly configured W2K system as a member server in a NT4 domain. I would like to make this server a BDC. I'm using dcpromo to do it but get an error saying an active directory domain could not be found. Is it possible to have a W2K server act as a BDC in a NT4 domain? If I install AD on the server will if automatically become the PDC in the NT 4 domain as well as a domain controller in AD?
