Mike, How is your WINS configured. Windows 2k can use DNS, nt4/win9x still relies on WINS If you have your offsite-win2k machines register in the site with the nt4/win2k boxes, they should become visible. In fact, your should only need one wins server on this site (you could add a secondary BUT ON THE MAIN SITE. Best practice would not mean having one on each site and peering.
