I'm looking for experience with both these products. I would also like to know the size of companies using these products. Are Both fully web based? DRA seems like its more of a proxy to AD. It seems like It would require more software and hardware. Active Roles talks about being stored in AD, does it modify the schema? Does Active Roles Gateway cost extra? Can Active Roles interface with Exchange 5.5? One of the things I want to do is standardize the information in an user account, for example location, city, Title. I would like to limit what then can enter. Like only give a drop down menu of what can be entered.
Do Either include a web based Phonebook using AD?
