[ActiveDir] Distro List issue

Hello all,   I have a distribution list that has no members in my AD. It’s not even displaying the right icon in the admin snap-in. When I right click on it and choose delete it tells me It doesn’t have the privileges to do so, specifically: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.   So my question is how do I get rid of it?
