Rick,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, my question is more geared around the
registry keys (or hopefully GPO settings) that I need to modify to get this
working. I did a registry scan and it appears that the reg keys in question
are in Binary format. I was hoping that someone might have some experience
with this and save me a lot of time.

If anyone has done this before and can point me in the direction of some
documentation, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

John

I don't believe that either of these actions are delivered via GPO
templates. It is, however, possible to add your own settings to the
templates (requires knowing what the settings would be and what registry
keys affect them).

There is one HUGE downside to doing this, however. This type of setting
is applied directly to the reegistry - not to the 'purged' key sets that
are created for GPO. IOW, this reverts to a NT 4.0 policy like behavior
in which the registry is permanently changed - unless you go back and
more or less manually change it.

If you want more info on how to do this (generically - I'm not going to
hunt down the keys to solve this one issue) I can provide guidance on
how to create entries to the ADM files to create these 'tatoos' of the
registry.
