Hello Everyone,
I am having a problem reading the summary attributes of a file on a Win2k Pro PC. (ie: right click the file, go to properties, then click the summary tab). This problem occurs only when the file was created on an XP Pro PC and only when the file is an image file.
Example: Suppose I create a .JPEG file on an XP Pro PC and in the properties of the file I add a key word or a comment and save it to a share. When I try to access that same .JPEG file from a Win2k Pro PC I can view the file but none on the keywords or comments show up in the summary properties of the file. When I access the file from another XP Pro PC I can see the keywords and comments in the summary properties of the file.
I am basically trying to search a share with thousands of images in the share. I am searching the share for key words. All of the files were created on an XP Pro PC and now I can not search the share from a Win2K Pro PC because none of the summary attributes containing the key words show up.
Any suggestions?
