You are
probably looking at a 2 week
planning 1 week
testing out your implementation strategy 2 weeks to
implement Granted
you could probably doing it quicker, but it sounds like you have a lot of stuff
to figure out and sort through even though there are so little users. -----Original
Message----- I am
involved with budgetary planning for a (relatively) small NT to AD migration -
rough details below. If anyone could advise rough estimated ball-park number of
consultant days for the planning and implementation I would be very grateful as
a sanity check. (My sanity, that is) Scenario:
The company has less than 200 users. They are located at 4
separate sites (including UK, US and South East Asia). Each site has its own NT
domain, with two-way trusts throughout. Existing DNS set up is messy, as
is WINS. Services include Exchange 5.5 (one at each site, should be
consolidated to one Exhange 2000), Intranet, self hosted Internet web site,
Extranet, file and print, SQL, RAS. Inter-site Links are at
least 256 kbps Many
thanks for your advice Peter
