|Subject: [ActiveDir] NT to AD with existing Unix boxes on network. ??
|
|
|Hello all
|
|I'm going to look at a small NT4.0 site with a view to an AD
|upgrade. I know they have a couple UNIX boxes. I have no
|experience of Unix as yet and was wondering if anyone here
|could recommend white papers or gotchas on upgrading to AD
|with existing Unix installations on the network. (In case this
|sounded confusing we are not going to be upgrading the Unix
|side but I am looking for possible trouble spots to focus my
|pre-emptive
|reading)
|
|I'm not sure at this stage if they are running bind DNS for
|example how would this effect me.
|
|Many thanks
|
|Nick.
