Hello, I was curious if anyone knows how to change the password creation date on all user accounts. Here is why:
When we upgraded to Win2k we also upgraded all clients to WinXP. Windows XP would not display the "Password Expires" pop up at login, we found this out the first time passwords expired. After the nightmare of changing everyone's passwords we changed some settings in in Group Policy and thought that we had fixed the problem (Synchronous Logins). It did not, so the second time around when passwords started expiring we simply set everyone to Passwords Never Expire. Now that XPSP1 is out (and fixed the problem) we need to turn our password policy back on. However, doing so would expire everyone's password, leading to the exact problem I am trying to avoid (changing every single users password). If I could simply set the password creation date to say, yesterday, I could implement the policy. If anyone knows how to change this date, or knows of another workaround (short of changing everyone's password and having them change it on initial login) I would greatly appreciate the advice.
