figure out a way to receive email notification of "error" and "warning"
messages from the Event Logs (Application, Security, System, DNS, File
replication, etc) of each of these servers. Does anyone know how to
accomplish this? I'm hoping to move away from having to check each
servers logs to spot a (potential or existing) problem.

Luis,

Take a look at eventwatchnt - http://www.netikus.net/. It has a
excellent price - free.

It can watch all the logs and send mail based on filters that you set.

We also use the dumpel.exe utility from the reskit to mail event logs to

the admins on a nightly basis. You can filter events using that tool
also.
