Andras, Given that the entire profile is parsed first, it may be a denial of access to the specific Security Principal that you are using. It's likely only a directory or file in the profile, but it will fail with an Error 5 nonetheless.
We saw this on occasion and had to either take ownership of the profile, or manually join it to the new domain without migrating it.
