Joe, Yes. It is using C on Windows platform. I'm trying to read all attribute values for RootDSE object. I guess I should use ldap_search. Thanks for the book name.

I am sure there are several on this list that know how to.
Could you give specifics on how you are trying to do it. Platform, Language, etc. Probably best to start that way versus guessing what you are able to do or need to do.
If c/c++ on Windows I highly recommend picking up Active Directory Programming by Gil Kirkpatrick.
