I am talking to the customer about combining the scripts and logically since I am fixing them I should be able to fix them the way I want but it doesn't quite go that way.

I just signed up my work email to the list so response has been a little slow because I am still an unverified user.

Subject: [Unverified Sender] [ActiveDir] ADS Login Scripts

I am helping a domain migrate from NT4 to ADS.  In the NT4 domain they have
a simple batch file that calls a main.vbs script. Depending on group
membership one of six other scripts may be called to map printer drives.
Each of these six scripts then calls a single final script to map printers.

In migrating the scripts to AD I removed the batch script and called the
main.vbs directly from the user logon script portion of the GPO for the OU.
This worked fine but the remaining scripts fail to run (sometimes). The
problem is that the failure isn't consistent.  Some times the middle tier of
scripts will run and sometimes they don't. And of course when the middle
script fails the final script doesn't run.  If I open the path to the logon
directory in Sysvol and run the main.vbs all the scripts execute properly.

Any clues on why the calls to other VBScripts may fail.

Byron
