Sounds like an issue with the setup, but have you seen this?

Subject: [ActiveDir] 2K3 - Migrate Primary DNS to AD Int zone

I have an interesting challenge. We are testing our domain migration from NT
to 2K3. Our current DNS zones are primary and secondary. We want migrate to
AD int zones.

Server Build:
I installed an isolated 2K3 server, installed DNS with a primary zone
(copied the zone file from our production server) and then installed Active
Directory to use this server as the only DNS server. I was NOT able to
change the zone type from primary to AD integrated.

In this Q article, Microsoft says that in 2K server you can change your DNS
zone from primary to AD int.

I guess DNS is different from 2K to 2K3 server? The option is greyed out in
2K server DNS. (right click on zone, properties, change button). However,
the option is NOT even there in 2K3!

This Q article does say that this will work for 2K server.

Has anyone found a way for this to work with 2K3 server? Or is this not
possible?

Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions!
