I'm reloading the yesterday's message with some extra information I gathered
today.

Situtation:
- I have 2 domains (A and B), and one DC on each (DC-A, DC-B)
- I have several clients on each domain.
- Client X (Win XP Pro) can join domain A successfully, but not B.
- Other clients can join domain B.
- I can ping DC-B from client X with both name and IP
- There are terminal servers installed on both DCs.
- Client X cannot connect both terminal servers. (Timed out)
- Client X's primary DNS server is DC-B.
- CLIENT X IS 128K FRAME RELAYED TO DC'S.
- I can connect to Client X with remote desktop utility of XP very speedy,
but X cannot connect to the Internet (can resolve hostnames, but cannot
transfer data). (great possibly of frame relay settings)
- And I repeat, X can join one domain very speedy.

What I did until now:
-Renamed X to Y, deleted every related record from AD of DC-B. And retried.
Nope, same message.
-Checked DNS settings, event viewer for any clue. Nope, everything is OK.
-File And Printing Service is OK, TCP/IP Helper Service is started and set
to automatic.

Now choose one, what do you recommend me to do:
1) Throw out that DC-B from the highest place you can find.
2) Put DC-B's case on DC-A's case. Sit on them.
3) Throw out that Client X from...
4) Tell accounting department not to use computers for accounting for
reliability reasons.
5) Tell the boss you resign.

:-)
