Mariusz, By demounting, do you mean uninstall AD? If
so, I had a similar problem. I tried to uninstall AD from a W2K3 server, but it
kept asking me for a valid Ent Admin account. I know
I had the correct Ent Admin account and password, but
it kept on asking for credentials. A few weeks prior to my uninstall attempt, I
installed an extra net card on my DC. I then used Intel Pro II Set to install
teaming network cards. It turns out, that if you install an extra net card and config it as a team, AD goes a little berserk. If you
happened to install an extra net card, uninstall it and then attempt to
uninstall AD. Hope that is the case. From:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mariusz Iller I know that same problem have been described on the
list but I didn't find a resolution. The problem is that I can't demount Active
directories on one of my servers. The description of that error is that is
problem with creation of computer account in AD. The wizard suggest me to use a
acoount from Enterprise Admin group but when I use one of that accounts that
doesn't solve problem. Maybe is somekind of trick to solve that problem and
uninstall AD (by wizard). I don't want to manually remowe AD from computer. Best regards Mariusz Iller MSP,MSA, MSCE |
