Hi people, I know this is an AD discussion site, but DNS is tightly integrated with AD. I keep getting this error even after I did what MS suggested in their event errors documentation. Has anyone got some suggestion?   Event Type:      Error Event Source:   DNS Event Category:            None Event ID:          506 Date:                9/17/2003 Time:                2:06:34 AM User:                N/A Computer:        NBJPLDC01 Description: The DNS server has invalid or corrupted registry parameter NotifyServers.  To correct the problem, you can delete the applicable registry value, located under DNS server parameters in the Windows 2000 registry.  You can then recreate it using the DNS console.  For more information, see the online Help.   MS SUGGESTION User Action To delete the specified registry entry: 1. Click Start, and then click Run. 2. In the Open box, type regedit or regedt32, and then press ENTER. 3. Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DNS\Parameters subkey. 4. In the right pane, right-click the Forwarders entry in the right pane, and then click Delete. 5. Repeat this step for the ForwardingTimeout and IsSlave entries. 6. Close the registry editor, and then restart the computer. To recreate the registry entries: 1. In DNS Manager, right-click the DNS server name, and then click Properties. 2. Choose the appropriate options in the Server Properties dialog box. 3. Click OK. 4. Click DNS on the menu bar, and then click Update Server Data Files.   I still keep getting the same error under DNS Event Viewer info!
