First
off try to verify with your own eyeballs. After that look for trend info, have
them record times of days that they have the issues. If it is all the time and
only certain machines suspect the client and/or network to the client. If it is
all users then start looking at Disk queues. When we had this issue it came down
to disk queues backing up on our EMC SAN devices. Although there are several
places the backup could be occurring disk seems to be the one of the
first places to look.

Hi everyone; I have been enjoying your posts and now its my turn. I support Exchange 2000 and Outlook XP and 2000 versions. Recently I have had several users complain about email slowness. They say that after clicking the send button it can take as much as 30 to 40 seconds to send the message. I personally do not have any issues with response time. The users in question have Office XP and Office 2000 clients on Windows 2000 workstation. Any Ideas on how to narrow down this problem?
