I am in Ent Adm and Dom adm and some application doesn't worked.
Applications that worked in folder, that was raising DLL or other components.
I found that in specific situation WIn2k protect by the 'less permissions' concept when it look at a multiple presence in paritetic roles.
By programming directly to recreate the problem I captured the first error that is different from the error that the system notified by popup dialog or eventlog etc.
By this i found the solution.
An apllication was a snap-in to govern the interface to SAN reposiyory tha suffered a conflict by the current user, th SYSTEm and the nested rights and permissions for call the internall bridge between GUI and drivers low level.
I made a particular user that was ONLY the correct rights but I used SDK Ms for speed

glad you fixed it, but this was certainly not the reason... If your account
was in those groups, then you should not have had any issues.

I figured it out, I was logged in as me, and even though I am in the Schema,
Enterprise and Domain Admins group, I had to be logged in as Admisitrator.

I am trying to transfer the Schema Master Role to a different server. When I right click the schema within the MMC Schema Snap In tool the change button is grayed out. How do I transfer the role?
