Booting a DC in DSRM effectively boots it into a "workgroup mode". However, you will be able to access a network share if you have another DC nearby that can authenticate the user that tries to access the network share. So, you will need to present your credentials when you're connecting to the share.   Cheers! This is obviously a waste of time if I cant get to it if I need to do a restore at any time.   Many thanks
