We have it on the DCs but it is disabled. It gets
enabled only when we first check in a DC (we have others building our DC's) or
if we have to demote and let someone else touch it for some reason or if I have
a moment of paranoa I will turn it on for a quick file scan.
We don't do file sharing except for sysvol and there are
only three people with write access. We don't web surf from them, we don't do
admin from them.

This may be a dumb
question, but do you guys have virus scanning software on your DCs? I have been
confused if the virus scanner slows the machine down or not.
