Hi, I need some advise regarding licensing. We have two locations which are seperated by 45 kms.
In our office, we have Compaq ML350 server with Win2000 server (25 client licences). The remote loc(showroom) is not under a domain and has a system which has win2k pro with shared drives. All other clients (3) access/save their files in that computer. They are locally networked. (LAN?) pls advise how do u call this kind of network, technically. I have also subscribed to Msoft's Action Pack which i have got Win2003 server with 10 client licence. My requirement/query: 1. Deploying domain setup at Showroom loc. 2. I need total 35 client lic including the remote loc. 2a. Can i upgrade to 2003 at main office and deploy the same at the remote loc? 2b. Can i use the same 25 lic of Win2k and 10 lic of Win2003? 2c. Or i have to upgrade my 2k lic's (25) seperately to 2003 and use the 10 lic for 2003 which i already hv which counts to 35 licences. pls advise.
