You won't be able to get a single baseline that applies to all DCs equally unless you have your load balanced perfectly which you don't have.   Some DCs will have x number of users using them regularly, some will have y. Z users will use the DCs in a slightly different way than Alpha users will, etc.   I think you should simply watch what you are seeing for a while and get used to the patterns and then maybe try to explain them. I know this question is relative but lets say I have a 20K User Domain with 17 DC's, the DC's have a Gig of RAM and Dual Procs.  What would you say is the average number of SMB connections that should be connected to the box?  I know that as long as performance isn't slowing I am fine, but I am just looking for what people think and why...   Thanks,   Todd
