Yeah most people probably still aren't back to work and this list seems to
be targeted to a lot of people when they are at work. I couldn't handle
these messages going to the office myself.

Yesterday I spent the day trying to gather up all my personal PST files and
start to sort them. Just checking online hard drives on my various machines
at HOME I found 6GB of PSTs. I burned them to DVD's and now I am trying to
sort it out while working on a perl script to clean up DNS at work (We use
LUCENT QIP and we have no scavenging...). It takes about 30 minutes for the
script to run when I make a change so it is working out well. :op

Looks to me as though it was even quieter yesterday.... (though
expected.... Headaches and thinking rarely work well together ;o)

I believe the worst that will happen is you will see errors on your DC's for
clients from undefined subnets. You can easily fix that by making one subnet
that is whatever the size of your network... I.E. If you have a Class A
Network starting with 8 you could do a mask of 8.0.0.0/8 and point it at
dfsn.

Does it make a difference to anything in a one-site forest if you do or do
not define any subnets in Default-First-Site-Name site? "Anything"
being "anything AD-related", that is.
Thanks
