Copy adminpak.msi from c:\windows\system32 on a Windows
2003 server to your XP machine and run it. It'll install pretty much all of the
administrative tools on your desktop.
If you just want the Active Directory tools,
"msiexec /i adminpak.msi ADDLOCAL=FeADTools /qb" (see KB 314978 for other options) From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ellis, Debbie Sent: Friday, January 16, 2004 7:58 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [ActiveDir] Active Directory Users and Computers We have a Windows 2003 Active
Directory Structure. Can I install
Active Directory Users and Computers on my Windows XP computer and use it to
administer the domain? If so, how? I
have tried but have been
unsuccessful. |
