Check DNS to see if the SRV records for the BDC are available; also
verify that the BDC is properly registered in WINS if you have WINS
running.
Sounds like only the W2K DC is registered in DNS
maybe?
You should be able to do a NSLOOKUP on the domain name
and resolve all the DCs...
