The "Additional Account Info" tab was available on W2K systems if you installed the
acctinfo.dll file from Microsoft. It is there by default in W2K3. You will not see
this tab if you first do a search on the object and then click on properties. If you
go directly to the object in ADUC and click on properties, you should see the tab.
This was discussed about a week ago in this newsgroup.

Yeah, I've seen that also Rich. Am I right that that tab only works on a
Win2003 or XP system? I have it on mine, but these folks are using a Win2K server
(still also a Win2K AD), so I think it's unrelated.

I have noticed that when you add the extra security info dll to view the
password expiration etc tab, if you do a search the tab is missing, but if you browse,
it's there. That's not a security issue in that case - I don't think it is, anyway.
perhaps it's totally unrelated?

We have a fairly well-locked down terminal server for our help desk staff to
use. Among other things, they can launch ADUC and manage user accounts. We just
noticed that if they choose the user by browsing into one of the containers, they can
bring up the properties of the user. But if they search for the user first, and then
try to open the properties from the search interface, it does not open i.e. no
property sheets are displayed. No errors, just never comes up. Any idea what controls
that behavior? Maybe we turned something off we shouldn't have.

        Thanks!
