I am confused, it was my understanding that the client, after connecting to
the VPN Server would use the DNS servers it recieved through DHCP from the
VPN Server pool. It appears this is happening with the exception of those
host names that have entries in the public DNS zone. Those are still being
resolved as external IP address, but if I use nslookup and set the server to
an ip address of one of the internal DNS servers, I am able to resolve
everything with no problems. There has to be a way to fix this without
using host files.

Just as an FYI, my VPN server uses only one network card.

Have a look I have seen this problem with checkpoint, the problem is
dns. For whatever reason, your client is still pointen externally.
Chances are if you add a hosts file entry to the internal IP you will be
good

Subject: [ActiveDir] VPN Server

Hi guys,

I have setup my server as a VPN Server and from the outside I have
noticed
that when I connect to the VPN Server, all the servers that are
publically
addressable, I am getting thier IP address instead of the Internal IP
address. Is there a way to fix this?
