Good Morning,
I have 2 systems: DC1 and MS1. DC1 is running Active directory. I made the mistake of trying to load Exchange 2000 on MS1 then trying to promote it. I have removed Exchange from MS1, but now when I attempt to run DCPROMO on MS1, I get an error that I am not recognized as an authorized account able to add systems to a domain. I used the SAM method: domain\user.
Do I need to change the SID? I am listed as a member of every group in W2K with Full Control.
