I saw that, but it’s been a LONG time since I “installed” SP4.  Guess I’ll give MS a call in the morning since I’m at home now J

Thank you Eric

If you want the QFE just give PSS a call and they’ll dole it out for you.

Subject: [ActiveDir] NTDS Database Errors

I was perusing through my Domain Controllers Directory Service Event logs and came across this error

On two of my three Domain Controllers

Date: 4/7/2004                                    Source: NTDS Database

Time: 8:00:42                                      Category: Internal Processing

Type: Error                                          Event D: 1168

User: N/A

Computer: DomainController

Error 8430(20ee) has occurred (Internal ID 20612ee).  Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for assistance.

There was about 10 in a row in about an 8 minute time frame

Everything I found (not much) says it has to do with SP4, which I’ve had installed since these servers were built.  Has anyone seen/had this problem?  How serious is it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Raymond McClinnis
