You will need to delete the computer object with ADUC (DSA.MSC) and the server object in sites and services with DSSITE.MSC, removing one will not impact the other. Now the machine is dead but the computer account is still in the domain. The server also still shows up under Sites and Services.  If I remove the computer account from the domain will that also remove is under Sites and Services?  Is there anything else I need to do before I remove that machine accout?   Mike
