I've heard a rumor here at work that if we switch to vbscript from Kix that users are
able to terminate their logon scripts prior to completion. We're NT4.0 right now but
working on the plans for the migration to AD using Server 2003 and were planning on
switching to vbscript.

We do lots of things with our Kix and it's configured so users are unable to terminate
the script -- it logs them out if they terminate. Can we switch to vbscript and be
able to keep users from terminating the script?

My answer was to have it run in a hidden window with the return codes returned to a
visible window. But it doesn't make sense to me that we can't keep people from
terminating.

What's the scoop?

Thanks,
Mike
