Title: Updating GPO Templates

Win2k AD, with Exchange 2003. No prep for AD 2k3 has been done yet.

I've got a GPO that was originally built using ADU&C on a Windows 2000 system, specifically for applying settings to computer objects. I'm trying to use some of the features that are added to support Windows XP and 2003. However, from a Windows XP SP1 (with current updates), using the GPMC, the updated components don't appear.

Specifically, I'm trying to change the settings for Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Network/Network and Dial Up Connections. I'm trying to enable blocking the use of the ICF, which only applies to XP and later clients.

If I create a new GPO from this workstation, I get the options. If I create a new GPO, then import a backup of the old GPO, the XP specific options disappear.

I know in the past there's been talk that the act of opening the GPO under XP/Win2k3 should force the upgrade, but that doesn't appear to work. What's the correct way to force the upgrade of this GPO?
