Hello, I'm having issues when I move user objects from one child domain to another. I have a requirement to retain the SIDhistory when a user transfers to another domain. To do this I have been using the original ADMT and ADMT 2.0 without problems for years. Although, all along I've noticed even during a Successful move of a user object I get the following Event logged in the Directory Service log of the Destination Domain DC.
Event ID 1168 - Error 6(6) has occurred (Internal ID 3151eba). Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for assistance. I have always ignored this message since the move did successfully complete. Starting about a week ago, I now get the above Event but I also get the following Error in the ADMT log and the move Fails. ERR2:7422 Failed to move object CN=John Doe, hr=8007054f An internal error occurred. I have Windows 2000 Forest with an empty Root and multiple child domain in Native mode with SP4+latest patches.
