Hi Justin. Don't know if it's robust enough for you, but we use
onlinetimesheets.com. Web-based, simple enough for me to keep track of my
project work without having to spend an hour a day doing administrative
junk. 
I try and avoid lawyers as much as possible, so I don't know what they need.
Worth a quick look, though.
I don't work for them...
