I’d like to reinforce Joe’s point. I go by the following rule of thumb – “A Windows machine is only as stable as the worst piece of software installed on it.” The less of anything installed on any critical machine, the better.
Logging onto a DC should be an absolute no-no unless something truly cannot be done remotely, like installing a patch.

That is it.... however, that brings up the question... Is Exchange Admin something you should be doing from a domain controller? As a general rule you shouldn't be logging onto DCs very often, that way leads to mistakes and problems. You manage the stuff from workstations. Let servers just sit and cook in the background.
