Indeed I do. I have been thrown into this implementation with little time to plan (i know, i know...plan plan plan) and am also just wanting to know if some of the ways i have been doing things are wrong, or if i am making the right assumptions. I appreciate all the comments that I am recieving.

Everyone needs read rights to the GAL for effective sending and receiving of email. Once authenticated, off they go. If they get a virus, then said virus is likely to use the credentials of the person who contracted it in the first place. So in essence, you'd be restricting usage of the GAL vs. saving yourself any issues with virus outbreaks. A better idea would be to invest in anti-virus software and manage it well. Archive?
