Hi,

We have a network of some 8,000 workstations running Windows 2000.

Approximately 5 are still reporting an old Group Policy Object being applied
for the user component of Internet Explorer.

When I check the UserEnv.log they all have these entries

USERENV(a8.3a4) 15:35:17:534 ProcessGPOs: -----------------------
USERENV(a8.3a4) 15:35:17:544 ProcessGPOs: Processing extension Internet
Explorer Branding
USERENV(a8.3a4) 15:35:17:544 ProcessGPOs: Extension Internet Explorer
Branding skipped with flags x50007.
USERENV(a8.3a4) 15:35:17:544 ProcessGPOs: -----------------------

When I look at a machine with the most recent policies applied, I see an
entry:-

USERENV(a4.378) 15:12:18:473 ProcessGPOs: -----------------------
USERENV(a4.378) 15:12:18:473 ProcessGPOs: Processing extension Internet
Explorer Branding
USERENV(a4.378) 15:12:18:473 ProcessGPOs: Extension Internet Explorer
Branding skipped with flags x10007.
USERENV(a4.378) 15:12:18:473 ProcessGPOs: -----------------------

Presumably "0x50007" means that it is ignoring the policy Extension for some
reason..

Can anyone suggest what the flags might mean, or where I go to try and get
more information on them?
