Todd- Have you moved the printers from under their servers? I believe this is the scenario when the DCs spooler is required. Search is not dependent on teh spooler - it's a simple ldap query for printqueues. --Brian

Got a situationâ
The first issue was in some of the domains, we have the spooler service
disabled on DCâs as a SOP. Reading this article has now change our approach.

Still, on the domains, searches for printers, report correctly. Searching the
Entire Directory, I see duplicates. I have given more than 24 hours for pruning to
run its course. So I am wondering if I have orphans in the GC.
Which brings me to my next point. We need a better way to fix orphans in
GCâs if it is on a large scale. Whoâs with me?
