Yep, DLT's are still around (although SuperDLT is prolly the better these days due to the capacity increase), LTO, 9940/9940B, even DAT is still hanging around. It really depends on your requirements and who your tape drive / silo vendor is (IBM will try down the LTO path as you discovered). With the costs of SAN's (especially the ATAPI/IDE based ones) dropping so quickly, even this may be an option. G.
