If you read his question, the issue is that the local admin account doesn't
have interactive logon rights.

Yes. You can easily break into each computer, reset the local admin 
password to blank, change the domain, and set the local admin password 
to what is needed. No need to rebuild the machines. If you use the CD 
version of the break in utility, very quick as long as PCs have CDs.
