Sounds like you have lost your DB, it is either rebuild or try the unsupported reg hack of productionoptions\producttype. This has been discussed in a couple of posts recently.

I don't have a backup unfortunately. It was a test machine, so I didn't have a thought at all to make backup (I should have done it..sigh) This is not the first time I had this problem. I had the same problem a few months ago, and I had to reinstall the win2k server... It's the last option that I want to do now... I wonder as well what caused this problem... As far as I can remember, I did a configuration using ksetup (for cross realm auth)...and so did I a few months ago before it failed. Could ksetup cause the corruption ? Can I do ksetup in win2k server actually ?
